This years season features some must see acts including the Studio Symphony Orchestra, Anthony Toner Trio and Belvoir Players.
Last night saw the final night of the annual Castlereagh Drama Festival taking place in the Belvoir Players Studio Theatre. The two night event saw four of the countries amateur dramatic societies competing to decide which three of the groups would go through to the Northern Ireland final.
This year Belvoir Players is proud to announce their 2010 Pantomime which will be Robinson Crusoe and the Pirates by Alan P Frayn.

Last night the Belvoir Players Theatre Academy 2010 production of ‘Les Miserables ‘ opened to great acclaim and a standing ovation. Pamela Mills and her team are to be commended on producing a stylish production which makes superb use of the many talents of the 120+ children involved.
Cupid Wore Skirts contains a classic mixture of Ulster characters and is one of the most popular and most performed of all Sam Cree plays.
We visit the home of Antique dealer Andrew Coulter, a widower who lives with his elderly father and teenage son, Brian. His married daughter, Daphne, comes in each day to take care of the men and ensure they are coping.

On Tuesday 27th April at 19:30 Belvoir Players will be holding open readings for performers wishing to take part in our 2010 Summer touring production of Sam Cree’s "Cupid Wore Skirts".
Spring is always a busy time for the Belvoir Players and 2010 is no exception. After the recent highly successful festival production of ‘Unravelling The Ribbon‘ we are now delighted to announce the opening of booking for two more productions.
Due to necessity of catering for a school audience on weeknights it has been necessary to bring forward the curtain time of South Bank Players production of “Twelfth Night”. All performances will now begin at 19:30. All tickets currently purchased will be valid for the earlier start time.
Unfortunately we have to announce the the New Lyric Opera Company have cancelled their planned performance on 12th March.
All tickets previously collected and paid for will be fully refunded on application to the box office.
2009 saw a huge success for the innaugural Belvoir Players Autumn Arts Season which had a number of sold out shows and very positive audience reaction.
In order to continue with our aim of providing excellent entertainment to the people of Northern Ireland we are proud to announce their inaugural Spring Arts Season. With a wide variety of dramatic, musical and visual arts on display there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.
Well after the dust has settled the final figures are in for ticket sales for the Belvoir Players 2009 pantomime ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Yes, you read that right. Over 19 performances we managed to sell just over 97% of all our tickets. A wonderful performance and particular thanks should go to the indomitable Pat Mills who once again ran our ticket office brilliantly.
