Pantomime Update

The 2012 pantomime this year is Jack and the Beanstalk. Tickets are already selling fast so early booking is advisable.

Tickets are £8.00 with a concession rate of £7.00 for Seniors and Students.

We’ve added some new events to are spring Season both Dundonald Community Concert Band and Ulster Operatic return to bring you some wonderful music as well as well as some show stopping musical numbers. As well as these to fantastic performances we also have a charity concert night for one of are academy members on the 13th of April.

The Belvoir Players Studio Theatre Spring Season returns once again this year with a jam packed programme of must see acts, shows and must see musical extravaganzas.

The season is opened this year with the Shadows tribute act followed by some old friends of belvoir as well as some new friends.

This years pantomime has been announced as Aladdin by Alan P Frayn and is set to run from the 20th of December to the 7th of January.

The Belvoir Players Studio Theatre Autumn Season returns once again this year with a jam packed programme of must see acts and shows.

This years programme see’s the return of some old friends, as well as some new companies and acts.

The season is opened this year with the world wide premiere of Popular a show written and directed by local boy Gareth Russell. Popular as a novel was published by Penguin in the UK and Ireland this July and it has since sold-out twice on Amazon UK.

With such and exciting line up of shows and more shows to be announced you’d be a fool to miss out. So book tickets soon to avoid disappointment.

Belvoir Players will be presenting the new stage adaptation of Popular, based on the debut novel of local author, Gareth Russell. Set in a fictional grammar school on the Malone Road, Popular charts a year in the life of beautiful and manipulative teen socialite Meredith Harper, the so-called ‘queen of BT9,’ and her clique of equally well-groomed friends.

Full of rivalries, parties, First XV rugby players, indie kids, house parties postcode preoccupations, forgotten home-works and scandals, Popular as a novel was published by Penguin in the UK and Ireland this July and it has since sold-out twice on Amazon UK. The first in a series, it has also been bought for publication in South Africa, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg. Also available in all major book retailers, Popular has been profiled in The Irish Times and on BBC radio.

With a cast of twenty young local actors, the stage adaptation of Popular will be performed in the Belvoir Players Studio Theatre from September 7th to 10th 2011 nightly at 8.00pm with a matinee on Saturday 10th September at 3.00pm.
