Pantomime 2008

It's that time of year again!

Announcing the Belvoir Players Pantomime for 2008 will be Cinderella directed by Richard Mills MBE.

There will be readings for the adult (Principal) roles on Monday 29th September at 7:30pm in the Studio.

Our Youth Theatre Academy will be working towards the pantomime from 6th September when they return from their summer break.

Calendar Of Events

The Belvoir Players Studio page has been updated to include a calendar of events to let you know what's going on at the Studio along with other events.

Summer Tour Update

Just a quick note to let you know that the summer tour of Sam Cree's Widows Paradise has started with great audiences at both Enniskillen and Newcastle.

Our three nights at the Ardhowen were complete sell outs and nobody connected with the theatre can remember that happening before for any show, amateur or professional!

Advance ticket sales for the two nights at the Marketplace Theatre, Armagh are well over 85% with a week to go!

These audience figures are a huge tribute to the reputation of the company, the promotional efforts of the hosting theatres and, of course, the enduring popularity of Sam Cree so congratulations to everyone concerned.

This week's venue for the tour is the Courtyard Theatre, Newtownabbey so tell your friends and lets see if we can continue our run of great audiences.

Belvoir Players Summer Tour 2008

The Belvoir Players summer touring production is set to go out on the road and our inestimably great stagemanager Michael is looking for volunteers to help with the get in/get outs for the shows. If you have time to help out at any of the times and dates below then please contact Michael via belvoir@belvoirplayers.org and let him know. You can also download the schedule from here in MS Word format .

If you've never been along to a get in before then come along as it's always good craic and the work gets done all the quicker with many hands to help. Don't worry about lifts to the venues as we usually meet at the Studio and then travel from there in a group to cut down on costs.

If you're not currently a member of Belvoir Players and feel that you would enjoy the challenge of working backstage with us then please contact us as we'd love to hear from you.

Belvoir Players Annual General Meeting 2008

The Annual General Meeting of the Belvoir Players wll be held at the Studio on Tuesday 10th June 2008 commencing at 19:30.

All members of the group are encouraged to attend as important future developments will be discussed. Be represented and have your say in where the Belvoir Players are going!

The AGM will be followed by a bit of a hooley as we present our annual 'Dick' awards.
